Classification of mobile screw ship unloader

Screw unloaders can be divided into mobile screw unloader, fixed ship unloader and floating ship unloader according to whether the whole machine can be moved or not and the installation position. They are suitable for different terminal handling process systems.

The mobile screw ship unloader, also known as self-propelled screw ship unloader, is characterized by a walking mechanism, which can walk along the track laid in the front of the wharf. It uses the cooperation of walking, turning, pitching and swinging to unload the cargo hold of the seagoing ship. The discharged materials can not only be discharged to the belt conveyor parallel to the quay shoreline, but also be transferred to the belt conveyor which can pitch around the hinge point at the end of the gantry, and directly sent to the storage yard.

The mobile screw ship unloader is suitable for coastal and inland ports with vertical quay walls, and the target ships are various bulk cargo ships. Self propelled screw ship unloader has a lot of successful experience in handling technology system of special wharf for bulk cargo such as cement, chemical fertilizer, grain and coal, and it is increasingly proved to be an economical and efficient ship unloader. Self propelled screw ship unloader is also used in coal unloading operation of power plant wharf.

The fixed screw ship unloader is directly installed on the pier pier. The ship unloader unloads the ship by using the coordinated action of the slewing, pitching and swinging mechanisms. The fixed screw unloader is suitable for the unloading of open barges in inland ports. Its operation range should meet the requirements of ship width direction. The ship moving device can be used to reach the unloading position in the direction of captain.

Floating screw ship unloader is installed on the barge, according to whether it can move, there are two types: fixed type and mobile type. The floating movable screw unloader is installed on the floating flat bottom pontoon wharf or floating transfer wharf. It can move along the longitudinal track auxiliary on the Floating Wharf to unload or transfer the ocean going cargo ships.
