Equipment Maintenance:

(1) For the damaged part of the paint film on the metal structure, the surface of the component shall be cleaned and coated with antirust paint and decorative paint film to protect the metal surface from corrosion after rain and snow.

(2) In the moving parts of the crane, such as the connecting pin between the sling and the crane, the guide wheels, trolley wheels, etc., we should do a good job in rust prevention. After shutdown, these parts can be cleaned with a brush to remove impurities, moisture, rust spots, etc., which can lead to corrosion, and then - 10 or - 20 diesel oil can be used for these parts, because - 10 or - 20 diesel oil has stronger permeability than engine oil, and the loaded spliced part can penetrate into it to produce oil film on the metal surface, and because of its low freezing point, it can resist low temperature.

(3) After cleaning and lubricating with diesel oil, apply a layer of grease. Calcium based or lithium based grease is a good choice, because these two kinds of grease have good mechanical stability, adhesion and water resistance, and the freezing point can also reach - 20 degrees. When applying grease, the coating should not be too thick.

The rust prevention of wharf crane is a key work, so the maintenance and anti embroidery work of wharf crane must be done frequently.
