Bulk ship loader is a continuous loading and unloading machine which is connected with the rear feeding conveyor system for bulk cargo loading. According to the structural characteristics and operation mode of the whole machine, it can be divided into three types: fixed type, mobile type and swing type. All kinds of ship loaders are mainly composed of on-board conveyor, loading chute, working mechanism (such as boom telescopic, pitching, rotary and whole machine walking mechanism) and metal structure, drive and control system. The working principle of bulk cargo ship loader is relatively simple: the materials on the wharf feeding conveyor are transferred to the on-board conveyor through the funnel on the ship loader, and the on-board conveyor conveys the materials to the chute at the end of the boom, and then the chute is used for unloading and loading. In order to reduce the dust during the loading operation, the chute is usually designed as a retractable operation mode.

When designing the loading capacity of the bulk cargo loader, it generally matches the capacity of the rear feeding conveyor. At the same time, it needs to consider the ship size, material characteristics and other parameters. The loading capacity varies from several hundred tons to several thousand tons per hour.
